We have the proud distinction of being honored by the State of Indiana with the Hoosier Homestead Farm Sesquicentennial Award. This is an award given to farms that have been in the same family for over 150 years. Our farm has been in our family since 1854. It originally started as a 40 acre farm that has now grown to over 380 acres, of which 35 acres are Christmas Trees.
Gayle and Lenna Sheets first planted the fields in the 1950’s, and then opened as a Choose & Cut Christmas Tree Farm in the early 1960’s.
In 1968 Sheets Christmas Tree Farm had the prestigious and once in a lifetime honor of supplying the White House Christmas Tree. Be sure to check out our pictures in the photo gallery.
Many hours of hard work go into the care and upkeep of our farm throughout the year. Thousands of trees are planted each year so that we may provide our customers with the greatest selection of trees possible. In addition, our trees are trimmed each year to ensure they have the most beautiful shape.
Our 2017 Christmas Season will run from Friday, November 24 through Sunday, December 17. Check out our hours and location.
